Kronaby App

2016-2019. At Anima I’ve worked both as UX and UI designer. I’ve created user journeys and wire frames for new features as well as drawing and exporting final assets. As a team of designers with similar skill-sets we most often shared the tasks among us, but we also had our special fields. I did most of the graphic design and drew the illustrations and icons.

Kronaby Animation

2016-Present. I’ve always liked to design for motion and at Anima I really got the opportunity to incorporate this in many aspects of my work. I used it to mockup interactions and I did animated illustrations for the app to help our users. I also ended up doing work for our marketing department, both editing material from our agencies and producing material for our own channels. Below are four animations designed in AfterEffects and exported for web with the Lottie/Bodymovin framework, which we used throughout the Kronaby App. Further below are two examples of videos I created for marketing campaigns on Instagram together with our Marketing Department.

Volvo XC90

2012-2015. I was part of creating Volvo’s new digital user interface concept for the XC90 and I was responsible for designing the graphical interface in the instrument panel. The display in front of the driver is the most vital part of the user interface with many legal demands connected to the safety of the vehicle to fulfill while also being the face of the car and the interface the driver interacts the most with.

Autonomous Drive

2015-2016. The automotive industry is facing a paradigm shift with the development of autonomous vehicles. Volvo Car Corporation was taking part in a government funded project called Drive Me which researches autonomous vehicles impact on society. In my role as strategic concept leader I was the responsible designer for developing the user interface for Volvo’s future autonomous cars. The user interface have been developed to answer the research questions in Drive Me focusing on how to create trust for the system and what drivers want to do instead of driving.

Volvo V40

2011-2012. The first car I worked with was the V40. It was Volvo’s first car with a digital user interface and I was the responsible UX designer to create the production interface based on an earlier concept. Since the project was one of the first developing a digital user interface we had to find new processes and solve new problems.

Volvo Speaker

2014. For the Inscription version of the XC90 you can select a premium sound option developed by Bower & Wilkings. I designed hole-pattern for the speakers in the car. The most intricate are the top door speaker patterns which are aligned with the shape of the speaker, contains a gradient along the shape and have the correct permeability to support the premium sound of Bowers & Wilkins.
